Old Aqueduct
Twenty years in a row, he led our community, leaving us fond memories and completing incredible feats. Even though he was somewhat ignorant, he was able to control the Pissouri Community quite successfully and in a way that was acceptable by the entire community. He approached and interacted with the villagers, who cherished him, in a manner that was exceptional.
Prior to accepting the Presidency of the Community, the late Aristides was one of the top executives in the village and participated in the majority of committees, including the SEAP, the Improvement Council, the Ecclesiastical Committee, and others.
Pissouri is filled with splendour and marvels. It is difficult to determine whether environmental, historical, or religious values should be prioritised. Despite this, the average traveller can cover all directions because there are so many desirable destinations.
The Pissouri Amphitheater was constructed in 2000. It features superb acoustics and breathtaking views across Pissouri towards the sea, Akrotiri, and Limassol. It is situated in the middle of the village of Pissouri, just a short distance from the local bars and taverns.
This memorial was erected in honour of Neoklis Antoniadis, a Town Leader and significant figure in the history of Pissouri, in recognition of his numerous contributions to the community. Neoklis S. Antoniadis served as Pissouri’s Community Leader for fifty years, from 1929 to 1981.
This historic aqueduct / Havouza can be found to the east of Ampelonon Street. It is a point of interest that enables us to comprehend the ancient customs and activities of the former people.
