The chapel of Profitis Ilias is situated on the pine-covered slope of Agios Ilias, 2 kilometres west of Pissouri.
It was constructed in 1960 on a sculpted rock at Mr. Agamemnon Fouta’s expense.
In 2002, the chapel was refurbished.
On the interior rock walls of the modest church of Profitis Ilias are very ancient hagiographies.
It commemorates every Easter Monday and the twentieth of July.
