About Alternative Tourism

Alternative tourism provides visitors distinctive and unique experiences while limiting the harmful environmental impact of tourism. Ecotourism, cultural tourism, adventure tourism, and community-based tourism are all included. A combination of sport events as well as outdoor activities aims to attract athletes from Cyprus and Europe by showcasing the unique morphology of Pissouri and surrounding areas. A fusion of cycling and hiking routes paired with a wide range of services that the community has on offer, make Pissouri a must visit sport destination.

The morphology of the area of Pissouri and the alternation of the forest with the sea, the plain with the mountain make our area rich in many different birds that host in these different areas.
